The Big Story – NEC Trade Show

Well, we did it. The NEC. Sunshine Snacks exhibited with all the big boys and what happened beggars belief. Ask any one who was there. We stole the show. Busiest, brightest. And as for the number and calibre of enquiries we had.

We dealt with so many people on the first day that when it was time to shut up shop, we were not aware of the time and many of us there had not had anything to eat or drink. The turnout was beyond our wildest expectations.

We had existing clients come to the stand, mostly to express concern that they did not know our range was so big. But that is an issue we can deal with. We had buyers from huge organisations come to the stand, all of whom we will be contacting over the next few weeks. People from national forecourt groups to the humble farm shops. The enquiries were endless and have already turned into some orders.

So a huge thank you to all the lads in production for your extra time loading all the giveaway walking sticks and making up bags for the show. A big thank especially to Jahangir who seemed to be everywhere. Thanks of course go to all who helped get the show ready on the day and helped out at the show. Coco, Heath, Zahida, Ajaz, Amir, all the family and the others I have forgotten to mention in getting the show ready. We will be busy for the next couple of weeks sifting through the leads and allocating business to the rounds.

Next year? Oh yes. We will be back. Bigger, better, larger ranges, more colourful (if possible!). And the message that we left behind when it all closed? Our competitors, the buyers and all our potential customers now know that the best kept secret in the northwest is out and playing for real. Sunshine Snacks has arrived. – Neil
